A product photo is a useful start, but it does not define material, tolerances, compatibility or packaging. Use a short specification and approve a sample when relevant.
What to agree before starting
Write down the product link, intended use, dimensions, material, quantity, required packaging and acceptable variations. Ask what is checked, who approves it, and what happens if the goods differ. Keep the approved version in writing.
Cost & confirmation
Confirm product cost and all handling or inspection fees before payment. An agreed visual check cannot substitute for required product compliance or lab testing.
Separate the product decision from the shipping decision
- Product fit
- What must the item do, and which specifications or sample will you approve?
- Import requirements
- Is it for personal use or a business, and who will check any product-specific requirements?
- Transport acceptance
- Does the exact item, packaging and any battery or liquid fit an approved route?
Close the loop on changes
If a supplier offers another material, size, colour or package, compare it with the approved brief before agreeing. Keep the updated instruction and approval together. A photo can help explain a difference, but cannot establish every performance or safety requirement.
Questions along the way
What if I do not know the exact material?
Mark it as a question for the supplier. Tell us why it matters for your intended use, so the required answer or sample can be agreed before purchasing.
Should I buy first and arrange shipping later?
For goods with uncertain acceptance or import requirements, clarify those first. A completed purchase does not make every item eligible for the preferred shipping route.
A product brief you can reuse
Start with a link or a short question. When confirming a purchase, fill in the relevant details below and leave unknown items for discussion with the team.
Product link / reference photo: Intended use (personal use or resale): Material, dimensions, colour and compatibility: Acceptable variations: Quantity / SKU: Packaging and labelling requirements: Agreed checks and photos needed: Sample needed / person approving the sample: Approved specification version and date: Changes requiring written approval before work: Open questions / items still to confirm:
Share the approved brief with the team and keep the agreed version. Confirm changes before purchase or warehouse work. Visual checks, functional testing and required product compliance need their own agreed scope.
Communication that prevents misunderstandings
Describe the intended product use and what matters to you. We confirm specifications and instructions together in writing, distinguishing agreed work from items still awaiting approval.
Service scope follows the project brief and Jeton Express service standards. Final conditions are confirmed in writing.
